Hey everyone,
I recently purchased an i9 laptop with a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, and I’m curious about how Intel Thread Director impacts hybrid workloads. Since these CPUs use a mix of performance cores (P-cores) and efficiency cores (E-cores), I’m wondering if Thread Director truly optimizes task allocation in real-world scenarios like gaming, video editing, and multitasking. Does it significantly improve system responsiveness, or is the difference minimal unless manually adjusted?
For those who own i9 laptops, have you noticed any improvements when running Windows 11 compared to older operating systems? I’ve read that Windows 11 is better at scheduling workloads across cores, but I’m unsure if it makes a major difference. Also, does enabling or tweaking Intel Thread Director settings help with thermals and battery life on high-performance i9 laptops?
Would love to hear your experiences, especially if you’ve run benchmarks or experimented with BIOS settings!
